Schining, Schyning, Schenynge, vbl. n. Also: s(c)hynyng, shynning. [S(c)hine v.] The action of shining, in the senses of S(c)hine v.; brightness. Also pl. in sing. sense.(a) 1375 Barb. vi 219.
