Sicht, n.1 Also: sichte, sycht(e, sytht, syicht, sychit, sight, syght, syt(e, sich, syth, secht, seicht, seycht, seytht, seight, seich, seigth, saycht. [Early ME siht, seht (Layamon), ME and e.m.E. siȝt (1297), sight (Cursor M.), seiȝt (c1350), syght (c1425), etc., OE (ᵹe)sihð.] Sight, in various senses.
