Mansioun, -tioun, n. Also: -sioune, -sion(e, -cion(e. [ME. mansyon (a 1340), -sioun, -cion, -cyon (14–15th c.), 13th c. F. mansion, L. mansio, f. manēre to remain, dwell.]
1. The place where one stays or dwells, one's abode or dwelling-place.To kave, mak (one's) mansioun, to dwell, abide. 1490 Irland Mir. I. 7/34.
