Owther, Owder, a., pron. and adv. (conj.). Also: owthir(e, -yr(e, -air, uwther, outher(e, -ir(e, -yr(e; owdir, -yr, ouder, -yr; older, -yr. [ME. and e.m.E. owwþerr (Orm), owðer, owther, ouþer, outher, OE. *ówðer, óhwæðer, f. ó ever:Cf. also ME.
