Palice, Palis, Paleis, n.1 Also: palyce, -ise, -ys, pallice; paleise, -eys, -eice, palleis(s, -eice; payleis. [Late ME. and e.m.E. palice (15th c.), pallys (1526), var. of Palace n.The more common Sc. form.]Plur. with, also without, inflexion.
